In late September the Long Beach Media Collaborative hosted a forum at the Michelle Obama Library during which we heard from dozens of locals living without internet access at home.

We gathered stories from single parents, college students and job-searchers to find out what exactly brings them to the library’s computer terminals, what prevents them from having access at home and how their lack of internet access affects their lives.
